West Texas National Bank

Your Security Matters

At West Texas National Bank, we value your financial information – it matters to us. That’s why we’re making changes to our Online Banking platform to provide real-time cyber security defense. Beginning Oct. 30, we are launching a security update to your Online and Mobile Banking log-in experience. This additional level of protection verifies not only your credentials, but your log-in device as well. If the system detects a new device or suspicious activity, you may be asked to verify your identity with a one-time passcode sent to your cell phone either by text or phone call.

Set-Up is Simple

For future identity verifications, all we need is a phone number. Beginning Oct. 30, when you log into your Online Banking account through WTNB.com or our WTNB Mobile Banking app, you will be asked to set up your verification phone number and choose your preferred delivery method — text message or phone call.

You will then receive a text message or phone call containing a passcode. Enter this passcode during log in to complete your phone number verification. Once entered, you will be logged into Online Banking.

How Will This Feature Work in the Future?

This security feature will only be activated if it detects a log in attempt that falls outside of how you typically log in. When this happens, you will be prompted to enter a passcode during log in. The passcode will be sent to your phone number you set up previously using your preferred delivery method. Simply enter the passcode to complete your log in.
